This Song is a tribute to Tyler’s late grandfather Jack Allen, a long time Ramona resident and Avocado Farmer in the Highland Valley Road area.  The song chronicles the true story of how Jack found his way to Ramona to pursue his dreams after being inspired to become a Avocado and Citrus farmer while stationed in Santa Ana during World War II.  The ranch property remains in the family and is known as Rocky Top Ranch owing to its unique (even for Ramona) rock outcroppings.

Tyler Stamets is a lifelong musician, song writer and performer.  Growing up in the mountain town of Julian Ca, he was inspired by making music with his family and in later years as a solo performer.  He wrote his first songs at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped since.  Tyler can be seen playing shows in the southern California area.  His style is an eclectic mix of unexpected covers and heartfelt originals with folk and bluegrass flair.
